Hello, happy hues

YET another work week is here (sigh, we know). While we can’t control the meetings we get pulled into, the many irrelevant emails we may get cc’d on, or the several different out-of-syllabus tasks that get added onto our list, what we can control is how we feel about all of this.

Confused?

Let us break it down for you.

Different colours are meant to denote different things. Like, we don’t call blue cool for no reason - we do call it cool blue because it does make you feel a lot calmer and so much more serene. The same goes for a lot of the different colours on the wheel. So we figured, why don’t we use the other side of colours to actually make us feel a certain way.

From powerful to chill, read on to know how you can effectively use the colour theory in your workplace style to try and set the mood correct for every work week!

When you’re seeking a little kindness & love

GO FOR PINK! Whether you’re heading for a date right after work or are finding ways to inculcate a little more kindness into your routine (especially when your chosen mode of transport chooses not to cooperate), a sweet pink ensemble is your go to. It's soft, feminine and puts you in a mood for compassion on a very dull and testing day.

When you’re seeking a little serenity and relaxedness

GO FOR BLUE! How often have you caught yourself taking deep breaths to calm yourself down after receiving client feedback at 6:00 PM or after a very hectic cab ride that didn’t seem to go your way? Blue is the answer. It calls to mind the much-needed feelings of tranquility and peace. So, it’s settled. If you’re trying to get yourself to enter zen mode from time to time, there’s no solution better than blue.
